vlog AIBL Chapter Attends the AIBL National Business Plan Competition in Las Vegas, NV

The vlog AIBL Chapter once again placed in the AIBL National Business Plan Competition held March 10-11 in conjunction with RES (Reservation Economic Summit) at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, NV. vlog students Melissa Dwarf, Tia Luger, Camree Pete, Alex Eagle, Na-Ja Marshall, and Brendan Traversie, accompanied by chapter advisor Glen Philbrick, attended.
The vlog AIBL chapter presented the chapter business plan Owašté. Owašté vision is to seek to broaden horizons of future customers by curating a selection of health-focused, non-toxic, and eco-conscious products through an online marketplace. The business plan was written as a business plan in theory.
vlog team members were on stage presenting in the presence of other AIBL attendees and RES attendees. Team members also had the opportunity to visit a UNLV technology center to see new and innovative technology designed for casinos and hotels. The RES Trade Show provided students the opportunity to network and meet successful indigenous owned enterprises throughout Turtle Island.
An awards banquet was held the evening of March 11th. vlog AIBL Chapter earned second place. The vlog AIBL chapter has always placed when they have been involved in the business plan competition.
The vlog AIBL chapter has received financial support through a grant from First Nations, which has funded travel to the competition, among other endeavors.
